DE—NINE explores landscapes as systems of forces rather than images to reproduce. Millions of simulated grains are given weight, drag, turbulence, attraction and time. The resulting forms are not drawn as final compositions; they are solved.

Working between digital simulation and physical printmaking, each piece begins with observation, scanned material or directional forces and ends as a high-resolution archival pigment print. From a distance the works read as abstract landscapes. Up close, the individual grains remain visible.

The practice is driven by a simple question: what remains of a landscape when the mountains are removed and only the forces that shaped them are left?
